Innovation has always been an important part of the Santrev approach to poultry housing.

In 2013, Santrev played a key role in the development of the $54 million Blanchetown project in South Australia — a 42-shed, seven-farm free-range facility and one of the largest of its kind in the world. Through extensive research and close collaboration with leading ventilation specialists, the project helped develop a free-range ventilation system that combines the efficiency of solid-sided sheds with the advantages of natural ventilation.

Since then, Santrev has continued to refine and develop new poultry housing concepts. Our own farms are regularly used as real-world test environments, allowing new ideas and design improvements to be trialled from concept through to completion.
