R U OK?
A CONVERSATION COULD CHANGE A LIFE.
R U OK? is a national suicide prevention charity dedicated to encouraging and empowering everyone to ask, “Are you OK?” of anyone struggling with life. Santrev’s aim today was to bring awareness to our friends, loved ones and workmates by encouraging them to start a meaningful conversation with anyone they are worried about and to support R U OK?
Today, Thursday 13th September 2018 the Santrev employees across Australia held a ‘wear yellow BBQ lunch’ to support the mental wellbeing of our employees. We wanted to bring people together to see the power of conversation, learn R U OK?’s four conversation steps, connect and get to know one another a little better. In the Queensland office, we enjoyed a BBQ lunch with our Queensland site crew followed by a game of Bocce (French Boules) which was won by Site Supervisor, Mathew Fleming.
We can all stay connected and have a meaningful conversation; you don’t need to be an expert just a good friend and a great listener. Please remember if you notice someone who might be struggling – start a conversation.
We would like to remind Australians that every day is R U OK? Day 365 days a year and hope everyone had a great R U OK DAY!
